About Bugiri Sugar

Bugiri Sugar Company Limited is private limited company, it incorporated under Uganda companies act in the year 2010 and taken over by group of young and dynamic investors in year 2020. The company is seeking to penetrate the growing demand of different types of sugar-related products by setting up a sugar and allied products manufacturing facility.

The project will help to fulfil the increasing demand of different sugar products in the country.

The company already acquired 60 acres of the land for its first phase.

A dream of many ideas coming together

With great passion and an opportunity ceased is how Bugiri was born. We have established this company on the four pillars of hard work, integrity, adaptability and striving towards excellence along with social and economic progress of the country.

I have quitted my job of bank in 2007, in order to enter into Industry Business. The goal was to diversify business in different sector of industry. At Bugiri, we are continuously reinforcing our business model to be Future Ready. We strongly believe that to be future-ready, a company needs to have a futuristic vision, customer centricity, focused PDCA management, timely investment in technology and management dedication.

Over the period of time we have drawn our attention towards greener and sustainable environment. For this, BSCL team has started production using “Green Electricity” in order to save environment & maintain green atmosphere. Our diversified industry business will help with increase in employment and gdp of country. This will in return increase the tax income for government along with reducing the goods of imports.

BSCL aims at bridging the gap by serving and nurturing the niche Sugar manufacturing market.

Bugiri Sugar Company since its beginning has been dedicatedly working towards providing pure and healthy products which are of best quality, chemical free and reasonably affordable. Currently, we deal in high-quality raw sugar and brown sugar.

We are now taking the opportunity to evolve our brand towards refined value proposition and a determined vision of serving & nurturing the consumers and in return, contributing Ugandan economy.

Our team of young and dynamic enthusiasts seeking to penetrate the growing demand of different types of sugar-related products by setting up a sugar and allied products manufacturing facility. Our factory is spread in an area of 60 acres in Bugubo Village equipped with hi-tech machineries capable enough to produce 4800 bags of 50 kgs each day.

Our founding chairman Mr. Amrutlal Patel founded Bugiri Sugar Company in 2010 to serve & nurture the consumers by providing natural and fine quality of sugar, also contributing towards the people of Uganda. Since then we have never missed an opportunity to earn people’s trust.
